- • Password — encrypted with bcrypt (we can't read it)
- • Prayer history — rosary completions, streaks, settings
Without an Account
Everything stays on your device. We store nothing.
How We Use It
- • Track your prayer progress and streaks
- • Sync your settings across devices
- • Send password reset emails (only when you ask)
That's it. No ads, no tracking, no selling your data.
How We Protect It
- • Passwords hashed with bcrypt (industry standard)
- • Secure HTTP-only session cookies
- • Encrypted database connections
- • Rate limiting to prevent abuse
Your Rights
Under GDPR and CCPA, you can:
- • Access your personal data
- • Correct inaccurate information
- • Delete your account and all data
- • Export your data in a readable format
Data Retention
We keep your data as long as your account is active. Delete your account anytime and we'll remove everything.
The Fine Print
Cookies: We only use essential cookies for authentication. No tracking cookies.
Children: katolik.faith is family-friendly. We don't knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental consent.
Data sharing: We don't sell or share your data. Period. We only use necessary services (database, email) to operate.
